REDDITCH GREEN FAIR 2008 BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER!
Despite the disappointing summer weather, the sun certainly shone for this years’ Green Fair held back in June. The event, which takes place in and around St. Stephens church in Redditch Town Centre attracted a range of stallholders offering advice and products related to eco-friendly living- from reducing your waste to vegetarianism, and of course Fair Trade goods.
The day itself is always coincided as closely as possible with World Environment Day, a global day of awareness raising held annually on 5th June. As awareness of Green issues has grown, so has the Green Fair- 2009 will be the fourth year of this now eagerly expected highlight in our calendars.
The fair is made possible thanks to the combined efforts of various local green groups, linked together known as ‘RAG’- Redditch Alliance of Greens.
