Fairtrade products, available from several local shops, were on display in the Redditch Kingfisher Shopping Centre during Fairtrade Fortnight as Network members promoted fair trade.

More than 200 Redditch Fairtrade guides were given out and numerous shoppers stopped to find out more about shopping the Fairtrade way.

Fairtrade Town Status

A Step Closer

During Fairtrade Fortnight (Feb 23rd – March 8th 2009) the final steps were taken for Redditch to become a Fairtrade Town. We learnt of two more shops now selling Fairtrade goods – just enough to get us to our target of 16 stores or shops stocking Fairtrade products. Having reached our goal on the other targets we can now apply for FTT Status.
